Global Digital Photo Party on International Human Rights Day

10th December 2016, 7pm – 9pm

To mark International Human Rights Day (10 December 2016) and kick off fundraising for the Rebuilding Camp in July 2017, ICAHD is organising a fund-raising evening for our rebuilding projects, featuring presentations around the world of photographs from award-winning photo-journalist Judah Passow’s* latest work, which explores the Israeli Palestinian’s conflict of identity as we approach marking 100 years since the signing of the Balfour Declaration.

Groups and individuals can host an event, and we aim to have them in many international locations simultaneously, where we will show an interview with Judah and an exclusive selection of his photographs.

Tickets will cost £5 in advance or £7 on the day. There will be a raffle in each location on the night for one of Judah’s stunning A3 framed prints (worth £125), and the opportunity to order his iconic book Shattered Dreams: Israel and the Palestinians at a special discount.

Pay via our crowdfunding page, which is raising money for the 2017 rebuilding camp.

*Judah Passow is the winner of four World Press Awards for his coverage of conflict in the Middle East. See Judah’s work here: www.judahpassow.com

We invite you to:

  • Organise a venue with a large-screen TV (many can be found free of charge in return for purchasing drinks at the bar).
  • Commit to securing a minimum of 20 guests in return for an A3 print to be raffled, and a signed book.
  • Help to promote the event in your local community.

ICAHD UK will provide additional promotion materials, including a video invitation and flyers, plus a step-by-step information pack, the slideshow presentation, and prizes.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: Contact us on rebuilding@icahduk.org for a full invitation, and to register as a host.
