This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website (icahd.org), Facebook application, Twitter, Instagram and other social media pages and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this Privacy policy as our "Services").

This policy has been updated to reflect the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) issued by the EU in 2016 (ref 2016/679) and subsequently the UK GDPR following the UK’s exit from the EU on 1 January 2021 along with other UK privacy legislation.

Publicly Available Personal Information. We may collect first name, last name and nickname; current address; email addresses; phone numbers; business email; business phone number; and other similar data.

Personal Information Provided by You. We collect financial information (credit card number, purchase history, invoices); political and social affiliation to different groups if you have provided this information and other similar data.

Payment Data. We collect data necessary to process your payment for your subscription and if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by our processing partners GoCardless, Stripe, WooCommerce and/or PayPal. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

4. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use personal information collected via our services for a variety of purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate interests, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.

  • help organise our rebuilding campaigns, projects and tours.
  • provide our service to you. This includes for example registering your account; providing you with other products and services that you have requested; providing you with promotional items at your request and communicating with you in relation to those products and services; communicating and interacting with you; and notifying you of changes to any services.
  • enhance your customer experience;
  • fulfil an obligation under law or contract;

We use your Personal Data on legitimate grounds and/or with your Consent.

On the grounds of entering into a contract or fulfilling contractual obligations, we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • to provide you a service or to send/offer you a product;

  • to send you information on tours or rebuilding projects (from us and/or our carefully selected partners);

As long as you have not informed us otherwise, we consider offering you products/services that are similar to, or the same as, your purchasing history/browsing behaviour to be our legitimate interest.

With your consent we Process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to send you newsletters and campaign offers (from us and/or our carefully selected partners);
  • for other purposes we have asked your consent for;

We Process your personal data in order to fulfil obligation rising from law and/or use your personal data for options provided by law. We reserve the right to anonymise personal data gathered and to use any such data. We will use data outside the scope of this Policy only when it is anonymised. We save your billing information and other information gathered about you for as long as needed for accounting purposes or other obligations deriving from law, but not longer than two years.

We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. We use encrypted SSL certification and two factor authentication to make the website secure.

10. Do We Collect Information From Children?

We do not intend to collect, or knowingly collect, information from children. We do not target children with our services.

11 What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Within the United Kingdom, you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. You will be notified about data breaches when ICAHD UK believes you are likely to be at risk or serious harm. For example, a data breach may be likely to result in serious financial harm or harm to your mental or physical well-being. In the event that ICAHD UK becomes aware of a security breach which has resulted or may result in unauthorised access, use or disclosure of personal information ICAHD UK will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

13. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

14. Do We Make Updates To This Policy?

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
