A call went out for 1000 people to come to Whitehall on the evening of Friday 25 July to assemble outside of 10 Downing Street, home of the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The number was to represent those Palestinians killed in Gaza while trying to get food but it was exceeded multiple times by people flooding in, banging on pots and pans, to express their outrage of the deliberate starvation of people in Gaza. Celebrities and other people of profile were in attendance, as well as heads of many organisations who work on the Palestine issue.
