For the past five years, Corporate Occupation, run by researchers from the Shoal Collective, have collated statistics from every demolition and confiscation of structures, destruction of water systems, or razing of land that Israel has carried out against Palestinian people in both the West Bank and within Israel’s borders. It searched for photographic or video evidence of which company’s equipment (for example, JCB or Caterpillar) was used in each incident between 2018 - 2022. And for the past four years, it has also tallied up the number of people affected or displaced by JCB machines. In its new report on 2022, it shows the degree of carnage and anguish caused by JCB through allowing the use of its machines in Palestine.

ICAHD UK has been proud to support this important research which reports that during 2022 at least 8,050 people were either displaced or directly affected by JCB machines, including at least 344 children. The report also includes a summary of our campaigning activity that targets JCB and the NSPCC.
