Jeff Halper is a featured speaker at this years festival

Greenbelt, the arts and social justice festival that has focused attention on charities and faith-based activism for the last 41 years – has invited ICAHD’s co-founder Jeff Halper, to bring current analysis from Israel and Palestine to the programming. Jeff will also pre-launch his new book ‘War Against the People: Israel, the Palestinians and Global Pacification’, and signed advance copies will be on sale. Friday August 28th: 
8 – 9pm – Panel Discussion on grassroots ‘Movement Building’

Saturday August 29th:
10.45 – 11.45am – ‘Where are we headed in Israel/Palestine?: Judaization and the rise of the one-state solution’
2.30 – 3.15pm – Christian Aid Panel Discussion ‘Reflection on the Road’, discussing personal pilgrimage with social justice

Sunday August 30th:
3 – 4pm – ‘War Against the People: Israel, the Palestinians and Global Pacification’ followed by a book signing
Monday August 31st: 
2.30 – 3.45pm – Panel Discussion on ‘ISIS and beyond: What’s happening in the the Middle East’

Day and weekend tickets are still available for this bank holiday weekend. If you are planning to attend please make sure you come down to the G-Source campaigns tent and find the ICAHD UK stall, where our team of volunteers will be on hand to talk you through our new resources and information on how you can learn more and get involved in the UK working to prevent house demolitions. We will be highlighting the story of our recent rebuilding project in Anata, and introducing some of our new campaigns.
