Israel-EU Trade Association Agreement MUST end, Committee says
January 31st saw the publication of the report by the International Development Committee, chaired by Rt Hon Malcom Bruce, Lib Dem MP, on Development Assistance and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and states that the actions of the international community threatens the viability of a Palestinian state. The report is based on facts collected since 2004, which concludes that the situation for the Palestinians has deteriorated and is facing economic crisis especially due to the boycotts and sanctions imposed against the Palestinians since the election of Hamas in January 2006.
