On 23 January 2012, the home of Salim and Arabiya Shawamrah was demolished by the Israeli authorities for the fifth time.
During ICAHD's tenth rebuilding camp in 2012, over 30 internationals joined Israelis and Palestinians to rebuild - after 14 days of building, Beit Arabiya once again stands as a symbol of peace.
