ICAHD 2012 Rebuilding Camp
On 23 January 2012, the home of Salim and Arabiya Shawamrah was demolished by the Israeli authorities for the fifth time.
During ICAHD's tenth rebuilding camp in 2012, over 30 internationals joined Israelis and Palestinians to rebuild - after 14 days of building, Beit Arabiya once again stands as a symbol of peace.
Salim and Arabiya received the keys to their new home on 15 July 2012.
ICAHD and the international community will continue to rebuild until we see an end to the demolitions of families, of homes and of peace.
