At Israeli Committee Against House Demolition (ICAHD) we can be hugely proud of our important work sharing knowledge. Through our books, talks and tours ICAHD has empowered thousands of people to go back to their communities and act as a catalyst for change.
Our mission is to create thousands of advocates for a future where Palestinians and Israelis to live together as equals.
Through our tours we have helped inform and engage 7,366 people between October 2012 and October 2017. That’s amazing. But unless we can invest now in training new tour guides and supporting the tours that work will be under threat.

Q&A about our tours
Why do you need to raise money for the tours – don’t participants pay?
Our goal is to take out as many people as possible to learn about the situation, so we keep the cost as low as possible to allow wide participation. While participants do pay for the tours, the funds raised through them don’t fully cover all our expenses such as: a fair salary for our expert guides, development costs, training, administration and more.
We believe our tours should be available for the widest range of participants possible, including students and young people, and that is something worth supporting!
What is happening with ICAHD in Israel and Palestine now?
Unfortunately, ICAHD was unable to continue as an NGO due to financial difficulties, but we still continue as a grass-roots group. Being a grass-roots group, we are able to continue providing one of our most important political tools – informing and educating people through our critical study tours. This tours are among the most sought after experiences people from all over the world seek when they visit Israel & Palestine. Our unmatched tours that provide cutting edge analysis, passionate guides and fearless criticism to the Israeli occupation stand almost alone offering an alternative Israeli voice in Jerusalem.

How will my money be spent?
The money will be directed specifically at supporting our tours and the administration needed to support them. If more money is raised than is needed then this will be focused on other crucial projects, as determined by ICAHD UK.
