ICAHD UK banners were lifted high on the streets of London for the 22nd national march for Palestine on Saturday, 30th November. One hundred and fifty thousand people, of all ages and backgrounds, gathered because we are outraged that the state of Israel is allowed to pursue its genocide in Gaza, that is also spreading into the West Bank.
We care about all aspects of what is happening, including the slaughter of more than 17,000 innocent children and terrible injuries that have maimed tens of thousands of others. As winter sets in, with the cold and rain with hundreds of thousands of Gazans sheltering in nothing but flimsy tents, hospitals barely functioning and with disease and famine spreading by the day, the UK government remains complicit in allowing this to go on, now into the 14th month.
Enough! We must continue with our demonstrations, lobbying of parliamentarians, BDS work, and all the other education and awareness-raising activities happening.
Robin Watson says he cannot believe he must continue coming to London to support the Palestinians and in protest of what is happening. The US government set a red line saying that Israel must not invade Rafat and yet that happened. Up till now, nothing has stopped Israel carrying out a genocide.

The marches have been opportunities for our team to distribute our flyers that have a brief description of our work on the front and with the Matrix of Control map on the back. As always, there was much interest in us and we find that we have encouraging conversations with others who are also on the march.
