Delegates at the Methodist Conference voted overwhelmingly in favour of a motion “welcoming the June 2012 Parliamentary Briefing of Christian Aid which calls on the Government to introduce legislation to end the trade in products from illegal Israeli settlements”.
Stephen Leah, conference delegate and ICAHD UK supporter and activist, reported: “We had a good debate with lots of support as well as a minority who expressed the opposite view. However, the vote was overwhelmingly in favour of the motion.”
