Courageous comedian Mark Thomas has found inventive ways to challenge the corporate and political powers-that-be. He has undermined with subversive humour, some grace, intelligence and compassion policies like our costly Trident replacement programme. He has shined a bright light of laughter on the arms trade, and the worst absurdities, inequalities and evil produced by the economic, corporate and banking systems. He champions the underdog wherever he can.

The Daily Telegraph describes him as “a brilliant investigative journalist disguised as a comedian”.

His website states: During 2010 Mark decided to go rambling in the Middle East and walked the entire length of the Israeli Separation Barrier, crossing between the Israeli and the Palestinian side. This is the story of 300 000 settlers, a 750 km wall, six arrests, one stoning, too much humuus and one simple question…

Can you ever get away from it all with a good walk?

Mark has put together a new show recounting the tale of the walk. With 3 dates still before Christmas, from 14th Dec, and until May 2011, he is touring the UK with this show. The work of ICAHD and ICAHD UK will be publicised at the show.
