Decode Jerusalem - 2007
Bianca ElzenBaumer & Fabio Franz
This do-it-yourself tour guide to Jerusalem will provide intrepid travellers with a comprehensive overview, on the ground, of the political geography of Jerusalem, and it's historical underpinnings. Fully illustrated, this guide will help the independent tourist (or Israeli) learn more about the reality of the Occupation of East Jerusalem. Includes bus information, and helpful cultural tips for those venturing into Palestinian neighborhoods alone. This book is the work of two young Italians who spent a few months in Jerusalem volunteering with the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions. Some of their use of English might make you smile but this is an earnest work that has real value.

Counter Rhetoric. Emily Schaeffer, Jeff Halper, Jimmy Johnson - 2006
This useful little book does two things. It challenges the rhetoric, the perceptions and assumptions regarding the conflict in Israel/Palestine, and it exposes the underlying imbalance of power around which this rhetoric swirls. It is both useful as a historical guide and as a tool for countering the prevailing divisive rhetoric.

The Occupation on Our Heads - Exhibit
The Occupation on Our Heads opened in Anata on the 3rd November 2007. It is a photo exhibition documenting the courageous struggle of the Shawamreh family to build and live in their own home. Composed of 58 pictures taken over nine years, 1998-2007, from the time of the first home demolition until today, The Occupation on Our Heads graphically illustrates the abuse of Israeli planning law and enforcement to deny the Shawamreh family their right to a home.
The exhibit consists of panels of photographs and text and comes with an explanatory booklet that describes each numbered photograph on the panels. The exhibit is designed for anyone or any organization to download the entire presentation for display at events. Please use the display of this exhibit as an opportunity to educate the public and help raise funds for ICAHD's rebuilding and advocacy programs. A broadband connection is needed for download since some of the files are rather large. If you have trouble downloading the files a CD with the entire exhibit can be ordered from ICAHD.
